Dear Kids,

What I’ve recorded here are the best things I can pass on to you. I have written all of these things in your journals, but just in case something happens to them, I wanted you to have these things written down somewhere safe.

My best hope is that you never have to learn these things by reading them. I hope they get imbibed in you through conversations, car rides, family dinners, trips, etc. I hope Momma and I live these out so much that you never need to refer to these things. But just in case you forget one day, they are all here.

And don’t worry, I won’t put up any personal or embarrassing stuff. That’s all saved for your journals.

So, here it is. The best lessons I’ve ever learned in my life all in one place. May God guide your path as He has guided me and I’m looking forward to seeing you grow up knowing these things from the start.
